update aug 19th nite time

today Jillian was showing signs of improvement. i spent the day with her, and saw her roll over on her side and hold the side of the bed and pull on it a number of times as well as open her eyes both on command and not on command a bunch of times to! her movements are also getting more delibrate, for instance she scratched the place where there is tape on her face a couple of times. All of these things are so exciting and really beautiful to be there to see.
she was pretty active (meaning moving around a lot) for a part of the day, and her brow looked kind of furrowed a lot of the time, as if she is uncomfortable. All though this is difficult to see, it is also a good sign, because it means that she is registering her body more.
please keep sending her love!!!!!
p.s. the post about the oracle (a couple posts back) was kind of like a private email that accidentally got published.
love,
amber

Hang in there Jillian. Sounds like you're getting stronger and stronger everyday. I know we didn't hang out much but my heart goes out to you.

Jillian; We now also have all the Rabbis at Temple Emanuel in San Francisco praying for your complete and full recovery. This is Rabbi Stephen Pearce and also Rabbi Sydney Mintz. This Friday and Saturday, at evening and morning Shabbat services, your name will be read to the entire congregation as Get Well NOW!!! The Gods will all be listening and paying attention. Love, All the Siegel Family

I just got back into town and heard the terrible, terrible news. I am glad that the recovery is progressing and that there is such an amazing community and so much love surrounding Jill. We haven't been in touch in about 10 years but we were great friends back in the day. I wanted to send my thoughts and love to Jill, her family and everyone keeping us informed and helping her during this very diffucult time.

With healing thoughts and all my love,

Shana (Katz)
