The afternoon is young but it's already been pretty exciting (12:50pm). Jillian isn't sedated at all anymore. Lauryn played her George Harrison's, 'I've Got My Mind Set On You' and Jillian got to really moving around, stretching her arms all the way over her head, twisting her body and legs around. She bopped Lauryn on the head twice with her mitt pretty hard. And most importantly she was closing her fingers lightly around different people's hands when we told her to squeeze our hands.
Other news is that she is not digesting the feeding tube food very well and she'll have to get a peg put into her stomach to insert food directly.
She has felt really present today, more so than any day and we've all been really excited.
This has been the best moment so far aside from being told that she was going to live.
